Board of Education Chair Ted Raczka announced the names of the Ad Hoc Feasibility Committee, which will work on possible redistricting and other changes to the school system. A series of possible changes have been proposed by JCJ Architecture, a consulting firm hired by the Board to study facilities utilization.
Michael Frechette, Superintendent of Schools, has made all of the information about the JCJ study and possible changes in the district available conveniently in one place. Included is a list of committee members with all contact information for each.

With at least 23 members on the committee, what type of resolution is expected in six weeks. We spent money on an architect and received a plan that the "Board" refused to implement, Now a committtee is supposed to resolve the problem. The "Board" probably will not use their suggestions either. Another case where the "Board" passes the buck and refuses to act as a Managing body.

Ok, let me get this straight. We spent money to pay a firm to tell us about overcrowding issues in our schools and NOW we are creating a committee of non-paid individuals to tell us what to do about the issues of overcrowding in our schools. Typical example of unneeded overspending. So, we couldn't have just listened to the parents and created the committee in the first place. We complain that the budget is too high and that teachers and programs are being cut but we have no problem paying money to a firm to tell us something we already knew. Typical. Get your priorities in order and focus on solving the problems of overcrowding, overspending, and under achievement.
