Background
B.S. Eastern CT State Univ.; M. A., UConn; 6th Year Certificate in Advanced Graduate Studies in Educational Administration.
Experience
Retired Technical High School Principal....33 year veteran of Education, Middlesex County Chamber of Commerce Board of Director, Vice- Chair of the Business Education Council, President of the Middletown Sports Hall of Fame among many others.
35 years of City Government experience.....18 years of elective office (8 terms as a Councilman and one term as Mayor) and an additional17 years of appointed office.
Qualifications for position
My 35 years of experience in city government ....my 33years experience as an Educator and my numerous years in various leadership capacities are the qualities I bring to the position that I am seeking.
Reasons for running
I am running for Council to participate in City Government for the continued betterment of the community I grew up in and live in
Goals
My singular most important general goal is to provide the best possible City services for the least amount of tax dollars.
A specific goal is to provide the best possible Public Safety Services and Educational System with-in the confines of our current financial and economic constrains.
