In Middletown, like a lot of college towns, the unofficial curb day is the final day that seniors are in town. On the morning after that day, the curb is lined with treasures, and junk, for those who love to browse the tree lawn.
Mike Morone, of Chili NY (that's chy-lie), has created National Curb Day when those of us with usable but unused items in our cellars, attics and garages, place them on the curb to be shared with those who might find a use for them.
