The Family Institute of Connecticut (FIC) recently announced that it has endorsed Len Suzio for the State Senate District 13, which includes the southwestern half of our city.
The FIC is affiliated with the national group Focus on the Family, which is an evangelical Christian ministry committed to the authority of Scripture as the inspired Word of God. Its literature proclaims "God created men to be protectors, just as women are nurturers." And with respect to same-sex relationships, "The Bible leaves no room whatsoever for confusion or ambiguity .... Scripture both explicitly and implicitly regards it as falling outside of God's intention."
