350th Anniversary Celebration Concert

First
Church in Middletown invites you to a concert celebrating its 350th
anniversary on Sunday, November 4th, at 4pm. Admission is free and open
to all.
The
program features the world premier of Lee T. McQuillan’s VISION OF OUR
ANCESTORS, a choral tribute to First Church and its long history in
Middletown, with Julius P. Williams, president elect of the (US) Conductors Guild, leading a chamber orchestra;
and First
Church combined choirs and bell choir, directed by Shari Lucas, Minister of Music and organist for the performance. The Rev. Julia Burkey will guide the service, and
the Trevor Davis Dixieland Band also will perform.
Honored guests include Middletown Mayor Dan Drew, Wesleyan President Michael Roth, and Middlesex Chamber of Commerce President Larry McHugh.
