On May 18, Avinoam Nehmad and Robyne Diller will present a slide show and talk called "Life in Israel Today." Their presentation offers a good look at the Holy Land and interweaves contemporary realities with stories from the Bible and from the history of Israel.
Avi and Robyne live in Jerusalem and are partners in Avitours, Lld., a tour company that arranges travel in Israel and the surrounding area. Avi is a veteran Israeli; Robyne is a recent immigrant from Connecticut and will share her experience of immigrating to Israel. Incorporating their distinct perspectives, their talk focuses on every-day life in Israel and its complexities and joys, with slides to document their lives and travels in the vivid landscapes of the Middle East.
