If you can bear the irony of a super-secret, black-ops military unit who boasts of their exploits by way of outrageous insignias, you may enjoy the black-op black humor of Trevor Paglen who has collected a bookful (yes a bookful) of these insignia's and called it, I Could Tell You, But Then You Would Have to Be Destroyed By Me.
Paglen will be in Middletown on Thursday, at 4:40 pm, at Eclectic House to discuss that book, and his upcoming book on mysterious political geography Blank Spots on A Map.
I'm not sure how difficult it will be for non-Wesleyan people to attend, but the Eclectic House is on High Street.
