Middletown Man's Company Wins Emmy

This goes under the heading of shameless self-promotion, but a show I worked on, Alzheimer's Disease: Facing the Facts, won an Emmy for best documentary at the Boston Regional Emmy's Saturday night.

The show was directed by my business partner at Motion, Inc, Glenn Orkin, and co-produced with Carol Edwards of the University of Pennsylvania.

The show, which has been broadcast nationally, is one of several shows that originated at Connecticut Public Television, and scored Emmy's at the (exruciatingly long) awards ceremony Saturday.

Trees on Main Street part 1

In 1981, before I was a part of Motion Inc, the film and video production company where I worked, they made a documentary for CPTV about urban forestry in Middletown. Here's Part 1. Part 2 will appear tomorrow, and part 3 on Monday. Happy summer viewing.

Please don't line the kitty litter box with today's business section

The Hartford Courant did a nice feature on my business, Motion Inc., in this morning's paper. I offer it to my neighbors as an explanation as to why I'm always saying that I'm going off to shoot people. BTW, that "cluttered office;" it's just a reflection of my mind.
