Upgrade your skills by enrolling in an eligible non-credit or certificate program at Middlesex Community College and receive additional specialized career coaching on your way to success, especially in high-demand health care fields.

This new career enrichment offering, through a partnership with Middletown WORKS, connects students to community resources, helps overcome barriers, and assists with leadership development. Your career navigation team provides one-on-one, family-centered support that helps boost confidence, connects you to cultural enrichment opportunities and valuable community resources as you successfully complete courses during the spring semester.

Get started by signing up for a special information session on January 13 (noon to 2 p.m.) or January 14 (6 to 8 p.m.). Rebecca Lemanski from Middletown WORKS, a representative from the American Job Center, and the MxCC SNAP coordinator will be available to answer eligibility questions and offer resources. Veterans Jobs Seminar

Veterans’ Are Invited to a Jobs Seminar

American Legion Post 75 is hosting a presentation by Anne Evans, Director of U.S. Department of Commerce office in Middletown, who will speak on potential jobs for veterans. The presentation will be on Feb 14th, during the regular Legion meeting, starting at 7:00 pm at the Legion Hall on Bernie O’Rourke Drive, and is open to the public. Veterans are especially invited and encouraged to attend.



Veterans of all services are invited to attend meetings of the American Legion, held on the 2d Tuesday of each month, at 7:00 pm, 58 Bernie O’Rourke Drive, next to Palmer Field, off of Washington Street.
