Wesleyan Campus Prepared For Graduation

The grass is mowed, the bushes trimmed, the flowers put in the pots and grounds, and the campus is all ready for an influx of the families eager to celebrate the graduation of Wesleyan's class of 2012 on Sunday.  One of the most striking features is a ginormous tent on Andrus Field.

The primary speaker at commencement will be Michael Bennet. A graduate of the class of 1987, Bennet represents Colorado in the U.S. Senate. He is most known for his advocacy of public education.

The president of Planned Parenthood, Cecile Richards, will also receive an honorary degree.

If weather permits, the graduation is held in the open, on the terrace behind the library. The ceremonies can be viewed comfortably from the slope of Foss hill.
