Photography Show At Klekolo
Klekolo World Coffee is one of those places in Middletown that is always showcasing local artists. This month they feature the art of Tony Palmieri, known mostly for his floral design company Datura: A Modern Garden. He's also a member of the artists collective Hurricane Clowns. But the work on display this month is Holga photography - a wonderfully unpredictable art form with a minimum of computer interference. Check out the video for images, info, and imprecise art.

Knowing the artist and having coffee at Klekolo's every morning I am exposed to his work. It certainly is well worth your time to stop by and view the photos and enjoy the finest coffee served in town at the same time. You will find this man's work beautiful and also though provoking.
I always look forward to seeing Tony's exhibits at the Wadsworth Atheneum "Fine Art and Flowers" event coming up next weekend -- his work is very individual and always striking. Loved seeing him do the one-man show "The Santa-Land Diaries" too -- and can't wait to see what his next talent turns out to be.
