MxCC Honors Connecticut’s Women in History with Display, Lecture on March 29

In celebration of Women’s History Month, the Connecticut Women’s Hall of Fame will give a free presentation and discussion at Middlesex Community College on its 16 new inductees.  The talk is part of the overall mission to preserve the stories of these 16 women, as well as to educate the public and inspire the continued achievements of women and girls.  Portraits of the 16 inductees are on exhibit at MxCC’s Jean Burr Smith Library in Chapman Hall until March 31.  The presentation, which is free and open to the public, will be held on Thursday, March 29, from 12:30 – 2 p.m., in the library’s Periodical Room.  Free parking is available in the lot adjacent to the library.  For more information, contact cruggiero@mxcc.commnet.edu or visit the CT Women’s Hall of Fame at www.cwhf.org.
