Gypsy jazz guitar in Middletown!

Greg Ryan and his sixteen-year-old son, Aidan, are Vermont's high-energy guitar duo, They Might Be Gypsies. Inspired by the 1930s jazz of Django Reinhardt and Stephane Grappelli, as well as modern influences from Argentina to Barcelona, the pair whip up a fiery frenzy of gorgeous sound. Middletown's own Scott Kessel will be playing percussion for both performances.

Tuesday, July 19, 12:00: Wesleyan University Crowell Concert Hall
Thursday, July 21, 6:00: Opening for ArtFarm's "Shakespeare's Argument" at Middlesex Community College.
