Holiday On Main Street will continue on Saturday, December 4 from 10:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. in downtown Middletown. There will be family-oriented events throughout the day including free hayrides along Main Street and Holiday Story Time with Spot the Dog.
The schedule of events for Saturday, December 4, 2010 is as follows:
- 10:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. - The Rotary Club of Middletown will staff the popcorn & hot pretzels stand in front of the Chamber. Stop by to learn more about the organization! Also, there will be holiday music by Harvest Woods Audio.
- 10:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. - New England Emporium will sell hot drinks, including coffee and hot chocolate in front of Middlesex Chamber!
- 10:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. - Members of Middletown Spartans Semi-Professional Football Team will meet and greet everyone in front of the Middlesex Chamber with treats for all!
- 10:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. - Greet Santa and enjoy free hayrides, sponsored by The Downtown Business District and The Connection!
- 11:30 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. –Holiday Story Time : Spot the Dog, sponsored by MARC: Community Resources, will be at the Middletown Fire Department (Main St.), where Fire Chief Gary Ouellette will read stories. At the end of the reading, there will be books for sale and a book signing by Spot the Dog, sponsored by Broad Street Books, Middletown.
