Buttonwood Tree Kicks Off 20th Year

The Buttonwood Tree was busy last night as volunteers readied the bookstore/performance space with new lights and New Year's Eve decorations for a kick-off party for the year-long celebration of their 20th year as North End Arts Rising (NEAR). Dubbed "Together 20", the celebrations will serve to acknowledge 20 years of support by the City's Middletown Commission on the Arts. They will also bring artists, patrons and the greater community closer together, (hopefully) in joyful appreciation of all we have and all we are, and, along the way, assist The Buttonwood Tree in raising fun and funds.
Fred Carroll lent his own artistry to the decor we thought you might enjoy. See his cartoons at Klekolo Coffee on Court St.

There are still a few tickets left!  You may go online to purchase some or to simply make a donation to support The Buttonwood Tree

Happy New Year!
