Today at noon at the Chamber building on Main Street, the Creative Juice will be having their annual "Summer Reading Book List" session, where members of the group share the names of titles that have inspired them over the past year.
Creative Juice, now in its third year, is the Chamber of Commerce council for people in the arts and creative industries. Monthly meetings are open to the public (though there is a small fee for non-chamber members) and it is an ecclectic group of photographers, musicians, writers, graphic designers and arts groups - both non- and for-profit.
This is my favorite session of the year and I always come away with a list of books that will help me think differently -- in a variety of ways. The meeting is an informal lunch session - bring a bag lunch and the chamber provides the chips and drinks.
Jen, it would be great if you can post some of the recommendations for those of us crafting our summer book list.
