Nieves to Leave Middlesex Community College for Capital CC
The CT Mirror is reporting that Wilfredo Nieves, president of Middlesex Community College will be leaving to take the post of president at Capital Community College replacing the retiring Calvin Woodland.
Capital CC's gain is our loss. Wilfredo has not only been an educational leader bringing MxCC to new heights, but has been a most welcomed contributing member to our community. He will be particularly missed at the Middletown Rotary Club, Middlesex United Way and his support of the Healing Racism Coalition.
I'm sure I speak for the rest of the board of the Rockfall Foundation when I say we don't intend to give him up without a fight. If Wilfredo is willing to keep one foot in Middlesex county, we will be delighted to have him.
