[A spokesperson said it is important to note that] there is not a lost and found drop box or service window at every station, and the location where an item was turned in is not necessarily where it was found.

If you think you have lost an item on the Metro-North, you can file a lost and found inquiry online, call 511 to speak with a customer service representative or visit the lost and found office located in Grand Central Terminal.
