Saturday Circobatics and more start this weekend!

Saturdays are special at Oddfellows Playhouse, and the fun starts this week.

Saturday mornings we hand over the keys to Children's Circus of Middletown Teeny Tiny Circus Troupe director Meg Berritta for 4 sessions of classes for our youngest Oddfellows - starting as young as 3!

The fall session starts Saturday, September 17 and will run for ten weeks (through November 19).

Classes offered this fall are:

9 - 9:45 am: Circrobatics for ages 3-5

9:55 - 10: 40 am: Faerie Tale Theater for ages 3 - 5

10:50 - 11:50 am: Circrobatics for ages 6-8

Noon-1 pm: Circro-Balance 6-8

Circrobatics combines circus, acrobatics, creative movement & games, all on an age-appropriate level.

Circo-balance is a "next steps" Circrobatics class introducing stilting, unicycle, rolling globe, tight rope, spools and other balance-based skills.

Circrobatics for 3-5 year olds is an introductory class to circus object manipulation and acrobatics. Children will have a great time learning to juggle, balance and spin all sorts of juggling objects! They will finish up each class learning individual, partner and pyramid Acrobatics which includes a super fun obstacle course.

Faerie Tale Theater for 3-5 year olds is new class in which children will be read a different faerie tale each class then re-enact the faerie tale using fun costumes and props from around the playhouse. The last class will be a mini-production of the group’s favorite faerie tale!

Circrobatics for 6-8 year olds focuses on building and fine tuning both individual and group Clowning, Juggling and Acrobatic skills.

Tuition for any of the Saturday classes is $180 for the entire ten week session. Financial Aid is available for any family that needs it. For more info, or to register, email info@oddfellows.org or call (860) 347-6143. To find out more about Oddfellows Playhouse, go to www.oddfellows.org.
