Do you Need to Take your Medicare Card?
or your Medicare plan provider card?
How to save yourself a trip home for your card.
Your Medicare provider insurance literature might say they pay for your flu shot. Mine said so, but it did not pay. The pharmacy sent me home to get my actual Medicare card, the one that notes Part A and Part B (at right).
You'd be wise to take your Medicare card with you when you go for your flu shot. Either that or make calls to find out if your insurance provider's card will suffice.
