The performance will be at Macdonough School, 66 Spring St. Middletown, CT. Produced by Oddfellows Playhouse and the Middletown Commission of the Arts. Come see a great circus show to remember! For the past 5 weeks, over 200 kids have been working on this show. It'll include juggling, stilt-walking, clowning, a live band, and so much more! This year's theme is: (Almost) Anything Goes! As circus director Jason Leinwand puts it, "Its about making a circus for sake of making a circus where act directors can make an act about anything they want. BUT, there will be a group of Agents, Scientists and Social Media Influencers who determine what in fact is able to go in the circus. We are hoping that ALMOST everything can go into the show!"
Bring a blanket, lawn chairs, a picnic, and enjoy (Almost) Anything Goes. There will be popcorn, ice cream, and drinks available for purchase. In case of rain, the performance will be held on Saturday, August 3 at 5 pm.
Tickets to the Children’s Circus of Middletown are $5 for adults and $3 for kids and can be purchased with cash at the door. Macdonough School is located at 66 Spring Street in Middletown. There is street parking available throughout the neighborhood; the school’s parking lot is reserved for elderly and handicapped only. If you require wheelchair seating, please contact Oddfellows Playhouse at (860) 347-6143 so we can assist as needed.
