Lesser and Abrams Get Big Boost

UPDATE: Lesser and Abrams have been declared victors in each of their races.

The city voted overwhelmingly in favor of Matt Lesser for the 9th State Senate District, and Mary Abrams for the 13th State Senate District. The outcome of these races will depend on the outcome of voting in other cities in each district.

The 9th State Senate District encompasses roughly the north and east of the city, and also Cromwell, Rocky Hill, Newington, and Wethersfield. In our city:

The 13th State Senate District encompasses the south and west of the city, and also Middlefield, Meriden, and Cheshire. In our city:

      Mary Abrams      3477
      Len Suzio            2428

These numbers are unofficial results, with all precincts reporting, but no absentee ballots included.
