Exclusive Screening of Film
About Cuban Refugees on October 12
Middlesex Community College will
present an exclusive New England screening of the highly acclaimed documentary
film, Operation Pedro Pan: The Cuban
Children’s Exodus on Friday, October 12, 2018. The 90-minute documentary
illustrates the story of 14,048 unaccompanied Cuban refugee children who
arrived in the United States between December 1960 and October 1962, in the
largest recorded child refugee movement in the Western Hemisphere. The public is invited to attend the free screening
which will take place at 7 p.m. in Chapman Hall, room 808, at Middlesex
Community College, 100 Training Hill Road, Middletown.
