Using Cemetery Records to Help Your Genealogy

From the Godfrey Library
--------------------
Cemeteries are a great source of information about your ancestors, if you can find where they're buried. Join us on June 4, 2016 at 9:30 am to discover resources that can help you locate your ancestors' graves and find the information contained on their gravestones and other cemetery records.

Gene Gumbs, head of the Ed Laput CT Cemetery Project, will also speak about that project and how it can help your research. Genealogy Club meets at Godfrey Memorial Library (134 Newfield Street). Participants will have time after the presentation to research at the library. Please bring your laptop.

Genealogy Club is free to Godfrey Premium Members or $10 a session.
