Turnout Remains Lower, Election Day Registration Successful

At 4PM, 20.8% of registered voters had cast their ballots in the municipal election. This is lower than the 26.7% who had voted by the same time in the 2011 municipal election.  This in on a pace to an election day turnout of about 33%.

About 25 people had registered to vote at City Hall, and subsequently voted. According to the Registrar's office, our city has so far had one of the higher such totals in the state.
