St. Vincent De Paul Middletown Shares Its Space with Buttonwood Artist for Gallery Walk

The folks at St. Vincent de Paul Middletown, (neighbor to TBT), have graciously offered their walls for The Buttonwood Tree's September artist, Patty DiFazio, to extend her show. Tonight, (Friday 9/6) the doors will be open from 5-8, as part of the Gallery Walk. The display will remain up for the month of September and is available for viewing any time the kitchen is open.

Pat (Divya Jyoti) DiFazio, is a Middletown resident, a yoga teacher and a teacher of yogic philosophy. Her artwork is a graphic expression of this philosophy and will be on display tonight at the soup kitchen and at Buttonwood throughout the month.

Music by Pat, her husband and the duo of Kalidasa Joseph Getter (flutes, drums) and Karen Nichols (clarinet), will be happening at The Buttonwood Tree from 5 to 9, with refreshments along with Divya’s book, entitled “Living Yoga”,  which is available for sale, autographed by the author.  The event is free.

The Buttonwood Tree is located at 605 Main Street, Middletown. Next to It's Only Natural market on the corner of Liberty Street, in the former Arriwani Hotel.    www.buttonwood.org
