LIBERTY BANK PRESENTS SEMINAR FOR FIRST TIME HOME BUYERS

Liberty Bank in partnership with North End Action Team, Inc. will present a free Homebuyer Education Seminar on September 28 from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. at the Green St. Art Center, 51 Green St.


The seminar is approved by the Connecticut Housing Finance Authority (CHFA) and helps renters understand the transition to homeownership. It is also a prerequisite for those wishing to secure down payment assistance or applying for any government housing programs. Topics covered are: Budgeting and credit; mortgage lending basics; the value of working with a real estate agent; and homeowners insurance.
