Contra dancing is an easy, fun, family-friendly kind of folk dancing. There is a beginner's workshop from 7:30-8pm, for those who are interested in a little pre-dance instruction, but even if you can't make the beginner's workshop, you can still come join us! You don't need to bring a partner -- just show up, and people will ask you to join in. All dances are taught, and the music is full of energy -- it gets you moving!
For this dance, we'll have calling by Rebecca Lay of Brattleboro VT, and music by the band "Nor'easter" from the Boston area.
