Body Found In Woods

From the Middletown Police.

On 12-03-12, at approximately 3:00pm, Middletown Police were assisting The Meriden Police Department with a suspicious motor vehicle. A K9 track was initiated. The track subsequently lead Meriden Officers to the body of a male party in a remote wooded area in the City of Middletown. The resources of the Westfield and Middletown Fire Department’s along with a Middlefield Police Officer, greatly assisted with the search and recovery of the individual. Circumstances surrounding the death of this party is currently under investigation. The Identification of the decedent is being withheld pending notification to the next of kin.
