Concerns about possible connections between the death of Diana Eichler, whose body was found on Miner Street in the early summer, and the death of Jessica Sanchez, whose body was found on Johnson Street Sunday, led the police to issue the following statement, "We would like to reassure the Middletown Community that these deaths are not related in any way. The detectives have thoroughly and completely reviewed the evidence in both cases and it is very clear that these are two very independent occurrences."
