According to an obituary in the Camden (Maine) Courier-Gazette, Charles Snow died last week in Maine at the age of 89. He was the son of former Connecticut governor, and Wesleyan English Professor and poet, Wilbert Snow.
Charles Snow was described as a lifelong resident of the City, with a very active life in local politics. He served as a probate judge in the 1950s, as public defender in the 1970s, and on the Board of Education from 1955 to 1981. He took a long trip around the country in a car with a trailer with his parents and 4 younger brothers in 1937. On this trip, the family dog died under the wheel of their trailer.
