  1. Proofreader needed! These dates are all for Tuesday evenings. The concerts are definitely on Wednesdays.

Well, since I am the one who schedules the Summer Sounds series and this is a product of the City of Middletown I have strong feelings that these dates are correct and that the series takes place on Tuesdays as it has for more than 40 years!
We hope to see you at next Tuesday's concert Joseph.

  4. My mistake! For some reason I had convinced myself this was about the concert series at the Mansion. Guess that *I* need a proofreader!!

I even walked over to the Mansion last night (Wed) expecting to hear 2 flutes, but instead heard a rock cover band.

See you next Tues and Wednesday.

    Joseph,

Glad to hear that you're interested in both series. Did you know that there are also free performances during the week at Wesleyan Univ. around the lunch hour (check wesleyan.edu/cfa) as well as Thursday evening performances in the Luis Lopez Herb Garden at the corner of Green and Main Streets? It's Middletown and there is plenty to do if you are interested in the arts!
Thanks for keeping the conversation going. :-)

  6. We went to see Brian Brooks Moving Company (modern dance) at Wesleyan's CFA Theater last night. A beautiful, tremendous, world-class performance (also right here in town).
