Connecticut Ballet FREE Performance at Middlesex Community College Today
The 2nd annual Summer Dance Caravan stop in Middletown by Connecticut's professional ballet company is taking place this afternoon (Sunday, July 15) in Chapman Hall on the campus of Middlesex Community College. This is a family event so come out and enjoy a program of professional dance "on the house". The show, "From Ballet to Broadway,” features selections from “Swan Lake” along with Bob Fosse's Broadway choreography, “Babble” the new creation from Connecticut Ballet’s Artistic Director Brett Raphael, and “Goose Pimples” set to Bix Beiderbecke's New Orleans jazz sound.
Pre-show entertainment: 3:30-4:30pm
Connecticut Ballet performance begins at 5:00pm
Onsite food and beverages available.
Meet and greet immediately following the performance in the lobby of Chapman Hall.
Although the event is free, donations to the Connecticut Ballet are appreciated. Free parking is available in the lot adjacent to Chapman Hall.
