FIVE MIDDLETOWN RESIDENTS INDUCTED INTO NATIONAL HONOR SOCIETY

Five Middletown residents have been inducted into Phi Theta Kappa Honor Society during a ceremony at Middlesex Community College held on May 4: Alina Bosko, Sam Chichester, Shanna Jarvis, Scott Stratton and Mary Tauanuu. They were selected to become a part of the society based on their academic achievement and success as leaders in service and fellowship on campus. Forty-three students total were inducted during the ceremony, which marked the 17th year MxCC’s Beta Gamma Xi Chapter of the PTK society has been active on campus.

“These students have excelled at their academic work and they have demonstrated outstanding leadership in their extracurricular activities,” said Dr. Anna Wasescha, MxCC president.  “These are the qualities that lead to being engaged citizens, exemplary employees, good family members, neighbors, and friends.  We are proud of all our new Phi Theta Kappa inductees and we congratulate each one of them on their selection to this national honor society.”
