Send Silence Packing Program At Wesleyan

The lawn in front of Olin Library is covered with 1100 backpacks, representing the 1100 college students who die by suicide each year. It is a moving experience to see the backpacks and to think of the students not there.

The program, designed to raise awareness, is sponsored by Active Minds, and Wesleyan student organizations.

    this was such an impact. some do not realize the stigma of suicide. we've lost too many to the silence.
