Computer and IT jobs are hot in Connecticut, and future professionals are
in demand. That is why the Middlesex
Community College Computer Club, in partnership with the Hartford Chapter of
the Black Data Processing Associates (BDPA), presents “The NETWORK Event” for anyone
interested in exploration in computers or information technology (IT) careers. Professionals will be on hand to discuss
different aspects of IT including web development, programming, database
administration, network security and more.
These experts represent Computer Science Corporation, The Hartford
Insurance Company, Travelers Insurance Company, Tek Systems, Aetna Corporation,
Cigna, the State of Connecticut, Central Connecticut State University, On Point
Consultants, and other regional companies. The NETWORK is open to the public and
takes place on Saturday, March 31 from 10 a.m. – 12:30 p.m., in the Student
Lounge in Founders Hall, on the MxCC Middletown campus. For more information
contact Prof. Donna Hylton at (860) 343-5774 or dhylton@mxcc.commnet.edu.
