Special Voter Registration Session

The Registrars of Voters Association of Connecticut would like to remind citizens of two special voter making sessions that will be held in your town at the Registrar of Voters offices for those residents who wish to vote in the November 8, 2011 Municipal Election.  These sessions will be on Saturday October 22^nd  from 10:00 AM – 2:00 PM and Tuesday November 1^st   from 9:00 AM – 8:00 PM.

Eligible voters must be citizens of the United States, residents of their town, and 18 years of age by November. 8^th, 2011, in order to vote. Eligible residents may also register anytime before November 1st during regular business hours at the Registrars of Voters office or the Town Clerk’s Office.  Mail in applications must be post-marked by October 25^th 2011.

A special session on November 7th is the deadline for new voters to register in person for the November 8^th election. This session is for people who become eligible to vote in their town after November 1st, the Registrars of Voters will hold the special session on Monday November 7^th,  from  9:00 AM to 12:00 Noon. You must register in person with proof that you were not eligible to register before October 25^th 2011.  If you are an active serviceman/woman, you may appear in person on November 7^th until 5pm.
