Marqua Resigns As Principal Of Woodrow Wilson Middle School

Citing the difficulties of his daily commute Woodrow Wilson Principal Charles Marqua submitted his resignation to the BOE Tuesday.

Marqua, who has only been principal for a year, made his resignation known in a letter to parents and students that was distributed earlier today.

The Board also introduced new Bielefield principal Jeff Fournier who will replace retiring principal Renata Lantos.  This year Fournier has served as assistant principal at Keigwin.

Along with Lantos, the Board honored twenty-three retiring teachers from the school district, and at a short break in the meeting hosted a reception for the retirees.
