Malloy Says State Aid to Middletown Determined By Formula

At an event for mayoral candidate Dan Drew, I asked Governor Dannel Malloy why State aid to Middletown would decrease by 1%, when the state budget as a whole will increase by over 2%. Malloy said that this was likely a result of the formulas used to determine State aid to municipalities, which depend primarily on the Grand List of taxable properties.
