Senior Center To Host Energy Forum On Monday

State Representatives Matt Lesser (D-Durham, Middlefield and Middletown), Joseph Serra (D-Middletown), AARP, and Connecticut Speaker of the House Christopher G. Donovan (D-Meriden) will hold an energy forum for seniors in Middletown on Monday, April 18.

The state lawmakers and John Erlingheuser from AARP will discuss electricity rates, consumer protections, and legislation being considered that will provide rate relief to Connecticut’s seniors.

Lesser is on the House Energy & Technology Committee, Serra is vice-chair of the Aging Committee.

This event is free and area seniors are invited to attend. Following the talk, Representatives Lesser and Serra will be available to answer questions about utility rates or any other matter.
