Mattabessett Canoe Club To Open On Easter

The Mattabesett Canoe Club at Harbor Park will open its doors for the first time at 10:30 on Easter Sunday. It has been a long winter of renovations, and worries over two floods that came close, but didn't get in.

Karen Frisk (pictured) will be accompanied by pianist Don DePalma, Bassist Bob Laramie, and drummer Trevor Davis from 11 AM to 4 PM this Sunday, April 24.

Easter Brunch seatings are at 10:30, 12:30 and 2:30 with a special Easter menu and spectacular views of the Connecticut River.

Wear your Easter bonnet!

  3. The building is fully sprinklered. Has been for all these years. I suggest contacting the City Fire Marshal's office as a concerned citizen and get the answers you seek. Not everything is as these blogs make them out to be.

  4. Thank you BCFire for that information. Should have been mentioned in the original post that the bulding was sprinklered.
