Hello, we are the Men At School. A program that works to better the future of the upcoming children of our community. The Men At School program meet every Monday between 11:30 and 1:pm. We are currently planning our second anniversary book drive. We would be extremely thankful if you would support our cause and donate a book for the children in need, or by simply allowing us to place boxes for people to drop off books and donations. Currently, books are being accepted at Middletown High School on 200 Larosa Lane, Russell Library 123 Broad Street, New Jerusalem Christian Center on 47 Norfolk Street. Both located in Middletown, CT. We would be greatly appreciative for your support. You can contact us at larryowens17@yahoo.com or call (860)344-9798 for more information. Thank you again. And for further information contact the head commissioners: William Ezell (860) 262-0355, Quinton Crump (860)301-9132 and Kyle Hoggard (860) 538-6406.
Last year our reading program collected 600 books, and read to 200 students. So this year our goal is to collect 1400 books and read to 450 kids, this will allow us to give each first grade student 3 books. Our motto is that we believe “Reading can take you to paradise.” We will collect book starting March 1, 2011 through April 16 2011.
