Assault On Clinton Avenue

The Middletown Police are investigating a suspicious incident. On 3-22-11, at approx. 6:15a.m., members of the Patrol Division were called to Clinton Ave., Middletown for a report of a male calling for help. An area resident located the male, who had visible injuries to his head, face and upper torso. The victim was transported to Hartford Hospital by Hunter Ambulance, due to the extent of his injuries. The male victim is currently being treated for his injuries, he is in serious, yet stable condition.

The Middletown Police Department’s Major Investigations Division is investigating the incident, which does not appear to be a random act. Police believe the victim knew the offender and sustained his injuries following an altercation.
