The Middletown Press is reporting this morning that attorneys for Acting Police Chief Patrick McMahon may sue Middletown if his appointment is not settled in an amicable manner.
The letter, sent to the city, cites religious discrimination apparently based on comments by Common Council member Thomas Serra that McMahon was not an appropriate choice because he didn't worship in town.
A stretch even by Middletown standards. Look like he just kissed his career in CT goodbye.
