Parents of Bielefield students were just notified via the Honeywell Alert System that their children are being evacuated to Wesley School. Neither the Superintendent or BOE Chairman Ted Raczka could be reached for comment in the last hour. There is no additional information available on the district's website as of 1:55pm.
Anyone with additional specific information is encouraged to comment on this article. The top priority at the moment is our children's safety and the accurate spread of information. Thank you!

ReplyDeleteDue to a need to assess the building structure, the Fire Department has requested that Bielefield students be transported to Wesley School for the remainder of the school day. Bus students will be transported home from Wesley School. Pick ups and walkers can be picked up from Wesley School on Welsleyan Hills Road 860-344-0381.
we have been told that their regularly scheduled busses and drivers will pick them up at dismissal time for normal drop-off times. I am not going to panic and pick my child up...I will wait for the bus....Please Dr. Frechette communicate with parents over the weekend about what might happen on Monday.
ReplyDeleteI am pretty sure the Fire Department did not tell Bielefield School to send its students to Wesley School.
