On January 4, 2011 the Street Crime Unit executed a Search and Seizure Warrant at the residence of 82 Burgundy Hill Lane. We had received numerous complaints concerning this address from concerned citizens that reside in the area that a male identified as Brynt “Sparks” Cole and a female identified as Ashley Rowe had been selling narcotics out of said apartment.
This ongoing narcotic trafficking operation had been going on since September. The MPD Street Crime Unit had executed a search and seizure warrant on Rowe, Cole, their vehicle, and their residence of 82 Burgundy Hill Lane on September 15, 2010 in which a considerable amount of crack cocaine was located on the kitchen counter top well within reach of two juveniles inside of the apartment. Cole and Rowe were subsequently charged with Possession of Crack Cocaine, Possession of Crack Cocaine with Intent to Sell, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, and Risk of Injury to a Minor (2 Counts). The Department of Children and Families subsequently removed Rowe’s children from her. Cole had a bond set at $200,000.00 which was reduced to $25,000.00 at court. Rowe was able to make a $200,000.00 bond.
During the month of December Rowe and Cole continued their narcotic trafficking operation as detectives once again attained a search and seizure warrant for Rowe, Cole, their vehicle, and their residence of 82 Burgundy Hill Lane.
As officers approached the vehicle a 2010 Hyundai Elantra NY registration FCH3962 they observed Ashley Rowe age 27 of 82 Burgundy Hill Lane in the front passenger’s seat, Brynt Cole age 28 of 82 Burgundy Hill Lane in the drivers seat, and a third party Starr Starks in the rear passengers seat. As detectives attempted to remove the three parties from the vehicle a brief struggle ensued between Rowe and detectives on scene.
Detectives would recover 2.5 grams of crack cocaine from the center console located between the drivers and passengers seats of the vehicle.
Ashley Rowe was subsequently arrested for the following charges and held on a $200,00.00 Bond,
Possession of Crack Cocaine
Possession of Crack Cocaine With Intent to Sell
Interfering with the Execution of a Search Warrant
Brynt Cole was subsequently arrested for the following charges and held on a $200,000.00 Bond :
Possession of Crack Cocaine
Possession of Crack Cocaine With Intent to Sell
Operating a Motor Vehicle under suspension
