The Bank of America Charitable Foundation has awarded a $5,000 grant to Gilead Community Services, Inc. to provide intensive community case management services to individuals living with severe mental health conditions throughout Middlesex County.
The support of Bank of America is vital to Gilead’s mission to provide a broad range of high quality healthcare and recovery support services in the home and community to improve mental health, physical well-being, independence and community integration for the individuals we serve. Case management services benefit Gilead clients in numerous ways all of which help them to maintain housing, and follow their treatment plan. “A Donation like this truly helps our clients improve their lives and build their futures” says Barry Simon, Gilead’s Executive Director.
“At Bank of America, we recognize that improved access to quality health care is critical to the overall well being of the community,” said Kevin Cunningham, Bank of America Connecticut president. “The impact Gilead Community Services continues to have on individuals living with severe mental health conditions cannot be overstated.”
