Debris and Accident Snarl Traffic on Main Street Wednesday

A squall which blew roofing material onto Main Street at the intesection of Washington Street closed the intersection for a time yesterday afternoon.

A few hours later, a head-on collision at Main and College Streets, involving a driving school vehicle, also closed the main thoroughfare until victims were transported to the hospital and the site could be cleared.
