Benefit Dinner for End Hunger Connecticut!: Wednesday, Dec 1 6-8:30 PM
On Wednesday, December 1, WesFresh and the Housing and Hunger Program at Wesleyan University will be hosting a benefit dinner in Beckham Hall in the Fayerweather building on the Wesleyan Campus. The event is meant to raise awareness about hunger issues in the state of Connecticut, and to support End Hunger Connecticut!, a statewide anti-hunger and food security organization. Executive Director of End Hunger Connecticut!, Lucy Nolan, will be speaking at the event.
For one ticket price, enjoy music from Wesleyan bands and food from Middletown Restaurants and Wesleyan chefs. Participating Middletown restaurants include: Osaka, Coldstone, It's Only Natural, Neon Deli, Typhoon, Tschudin Chocolates, Javapalooza!, and Pattie's Palace. Wesleyan students from Earth House, Full House, Farm House, the Bayit, Chinese House, Wesgreeks, and late night Thai will also be cooking for the event.
Tickets are available in advance for $6 at the Wesleyan University Box Office, located in the Usdan Center at Wesleyan, or online at http://www.wesleyan.edu/cfa/boxoffice.html. Tickets will be sold for $7 at the door.
