ReplyDeleteOut of respect for the family and person I think this should be reported as an ongoing investigation. The reporting of what happened is speculative and should wait until details are released by the proper authorities. My prayers go to the family, the person involved and Wesleyan University. May God watch over them.
ReplyDeleteSaying prayers for both the young lady, her friends and family and the medical personnel that will treat her.
ReplyDeleteMay God give her comfort and healing.
ReplyDeleteOur thoughts and prayers are with the family, and the first responders as well as the Wesleyan Community. God Bless.

ReplyDeleteAnon 10:20, how about picking up a copy of the Press or Courant for your update? Or reading a copy on line?
ReplyDeleteThe Eye does a good job of alerting us to stories like this but can't be expected to provide follow-up coverage for everything. It is, after all, just a blog.
Here's a thought: why don't you go find out the latest developments, and post it here for the rest of us?
President Roth has announced that the young woman passed away yesterday. A memorial is being planned and out of respect for her family, no detailed information is being divulged, beyond and acknowledgment that she took her own life. Peace to all affected by this tragedy.
